Wow, uhhhh... yea. And to think the last time I logged on here I had only... no job.. for like months. I got these two suckers after buyin a couple new shirts for interviews. coinsidence? I think not. Mostly though I think it was cause, at those places, I showed up in person and got to talk to someone in charge. Therefore, I got to make a good impression with my awesomeness before turnin in an app. the shirts were just the icing on the cake, that final touch, that set the deal for good. silly people, i'm still the same person. to think a shirt makes such a difference. pshah-

In my teaching class last semester, I got an evaluation from my professor, and I scored astronomically high on pretty much everything, except ONE THING: "Appearance." My professor made a note next to that once saying something to the effect of, "Your unique style really shows your personality, but you should consider more professional attire for future field experiences."
Apparently she doesn't like colorful things? Because I wore black or khaki slacks and nice, tidy, non-revealing layered tops to all my field experiences. Uhm. (Well, and I also have purple edges on my hair, but uh. It's so minimal that you have to look close to make sure there really is color in my hair.)

...then again, maybe she just wants you to were a womens suit. Its really hard to find those for a decent price and level of flattery though. most of the them make people look tacky, old, or stuffy D| a few are really good but those are usually expensive. bleh.
alsoooo... this is one of the tops I got: [link]
then I also got this one: [link] and paired it with a pastel or light colored lacy tank underneath. I'd wear black skinny pants for both outfits :3 *nodnod*
...OOOHH! Hair color! I have some bright red extensions! I love em to death xD
btw I drew you a big sketch with ash and maho! but now the scanners not workin.... so yeah, might be a while D|
Hmmm... this is pretty much the style I wear: [link] ...except in that picture I'm wearing really obnoxious rainbow earrings because I was feeling silly that night! But other than that.
And stuff my fursona wears: [link]
Things along those lines. Layered tops and scarves with slacks or sometimes gypsy skirts.
She did point out that we're not supposed to wear tennis shoes. But the only dress shoes I've found that I can wear without getting blisters are all sandals and don't stay on my feet well, which is also a no-no for teaching (for good reason- you don't need to be tripping over your own lost shoes when rushing to a classroom emergency). And somehow I thought it was more important that my shoes stay on than that my shoes look nice.
And yuuuus, hair color. I've been wanting purple in my hair for ages, and I'm rather pleased now that I finally have it. 83
And oh, YAY! Well I'm excited to see, once you do gain access to scanability. <3

UWAA! I see Diane! *pokes* x3 You're really cute, your skin looks amazing smooth! *pokespokes* zomg Diane's real xD
Anyways! I don't see why your teach is buggin you about it. Maybe she thinks they look too Tshirt-ish since they're basic tops and have a tshirt like seam. Maybe she doesn't like the gypsy skirts, possible hippie association. I dunno, could be either. Actually some or so picky that khaki pants dont cut it either, so it could be that. Black is safer. Perhaps she requires blouses? Or maybe just something like these, excluding the tees ( [link]
